Community member, Saugus
I've watched Rob and this staff show up for our community for years, long before there was a building. Knowing they'll have a home base here this fall gives so many families real hope.

Outpatient Addiction Treatment in Saugus, Massachusetts
Shine Wellness & Recovery is a licensed outpatient addiction treatment program at 605 Broadway, Unit 3A in Saugus, MA. We serve adults across the North Shore and Greater Boston, including Lynn, Revere, Malden, Medford, Everett, Chelsea, Melrose, Wakefield, Peabody, Danvers, and Salem. Care is available in English and Spanish.
We offer three levels of outpatient care. Partial Hospitalization (PHP) provides the most structure, with clinical programming most of the day, several days a week. Intensive Outpatient (IOP) meets fewer hours so you can keep working, studying, or caring for your family. Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) combines FDA-approved medication with counseling for opioid and alcohol use disorder. We will recommend the right starting point after a free assessment.
Treatment here is evidence based and personal. Individual sessions draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, motivational interviewing, and relapse prevention. Group work builds coping skills and connection. Holistic programming supports sleep, movement, nutrition, and stress. We also treat co-occurring anxiety, depression, and trauma, because substance use rarely shows up alone.
We treat alcohol, heroin and fentanyl, cocaine and stimulants, prescription drugs, and marijuana use. Many of the people on our team have lived recovery themselves, so the first call feels like a conversation rather than an intake form. It takes about ten to fifteen minutes, costs nothing, and carries no obligation.
Insurance is usually the biggest question, and we handle it. We verify your benefits before you commit to anything and explain your coverage in plain language. We accept most major commercial plans. Families are welcome too, whether you are trying to help a partner, a child, or a parent. Call (617) 341-9944 to talk with someone today.
